Night Messages of the Bible - Preached by Stephen Kennedy on 10/13/2013

Night Messages of the Bible
Psalms 16:7
I)                   The message of the Coming Savior. Luke 2:8-14
A)    It's a message of Peace. Luke 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
B)    It’s a message to all People. Luke 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
C)    It's a message of Passiveness. Luke 2:12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
D)    It’s a message of Praise. Luke 2:13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

II)                The message of the Conquering Salvation. John 3:1-21
A)    It’s a message of the New Birth. John 3:3-5 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
B)    It’s a message of the New Belief. John 3:14-15 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
C)    It’s a message of the New Brightness. John 3:18-21 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

III)             The message of the Continuing Service. John 20:19-23
A)    It’s a message of Comfort. John 20:19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
B)    It’s a message of Confirmation. John 20:20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.
C)    It’s a message of Commitment. John 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

D)    It’s a message of Consecration. John 20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
